Course description

For the basis of the assignment and position of a responsible electrician according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG) § 13, the employer can assign “reliable and competent persons” in writing to take over tasks on their own responsibility. The additional qualification enables you to act as a responsible electrician (vEFK). You will gain comprehensive knowledge of the tasks of a responsible electrician and the applicable legal regulations. In addition, you will be shown the technical and managerial responsibility incumbent on a vEFK.

Training content

• Statutory regulations
• Tasks and duties according to the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health, DGUV Regulation 1 (previously BGV A1), DGUV Regulation 3 (previously BGV A3), VDE 0105-100, VDE 1000-10
• Transfer of company duties to the responsible electrician
• Drawing up work instructions for dangerous work
• Types of accidents, accident black spots
• Personal protective equipment
• Awarding contracts to external companies
• Coordination of work
• Instruction and training of employees
• Testing of electrical machines, systems and equipment
• Appointment of responsible electricians
• Form and content of appointment documents
• Liability

Requirement

Qualification of competent person according to DGUV I 209-093 (FHV), or qualified electrician (EFK)

Max. 12 persons

Assessment

Instruction without exam

Certificate

Each participant receives a certificate after successfully passing the assessment. All certificates contain the following contents:

• Name of the participant
• Title of the qualification
• Training content
• Time scope of the qualification measure

This certificate is relevant to be able to prove the correct qualification e.g. in front of the employers’ liability insurance association or the employer.
