Course description
The EuP (Electrically Instructed Person) training course equips non-electricians with essential electrical knowledge and hands-on skills to perform designated tasks safely and responsibly. Designed to align with regulatory standards, the course ensures participants understand the risks, protective measures, and legal boundaries of working in electrical environments—always under the supervision of a qualified electrician.
Course outline
Basics of electrical engineering
Fundamental electrical principles
Identification of electrical hazards
Implementation of protective measures against electric shocks and arc
Health and safety protocols for high voltage work
Practical applications of electrical test equipment according to VDE 0104 and DGUV I 203-034
Requirements
No formal prior knowledge required.
Certification
Each participant who successfully pass the assessment will receive a certificate. This certificate contains the following information:
- Name of participant
- Title of qualification
- Training content
- Duration of training course
This certificate is relevant to prove the correct qualification to the employers’ liability insurance association or the employer.
Validity
The instruction should be repeated at regular intervals. According to DGUV Regulation 1, refresher training should be given at least once a year.
