Course description
The high voltage training level 2 course equips participants with the skills to safely establish the absence of voltage on high voltage systems and perform electrotechnical work on these systems in a voltage-free state.
Upon completion, participants are recognised as a “qualified person” (FHV).
When enrolling in the course, it’s important to consider whether you work on vehicles or HV components before start of production (E) or after the start of production (S), as the course content will vary based on this distinction.
Course outline
In accordance with DGUV I 209-093
Fundamentals of electrical knowledge
Identifying electrical risks and first aid
Protective measures for electric shocks and arcs
Health and safety procedures when working on high voltage components
Roles and responsibilities of high voltage work environments
Qualifications for electrical engineering vs. high voltage technology
Use of high voltage systems in electric vehicles

Practical training on safe decommissioning and commissioning of high voltage systems
Requirements
There are no prerequisites for this training. However, DGUV I 209-093 defines different entry levels based on the participants’ prior electrotechnical knowledge.
Entry A: For individuals who have completed technical training but lack electrotechnical knowledge.
Entry B: For individuals with prior electrotechnical knowledge.
Entry C: For individuals with formal electrotechnical training.
Not sure which entry level applies to you, please contact us.
Certification
Each participant who successfully pass the assessment will receive a certificate. This certificate contains the following information:
- Name of participant
- Title of qualification
- Training content
- Duration of training course
This certificate is relevant to prove the correct qualification to the employers’ liability insurance association or the employer.
