Course description
In accordance with §13 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG), employers can formally appoint “reliable and competent individuals” to independently take on responsibilities as a responsible electrician (vEFK).
This training provides the additional qualification required to fulfil the role of a vEFK. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of the responsibilities, applicable legal regulations, and essential tasks associated with the position. The course also covers the technical and managerial duties that come with being a responsible electrician.

Statutory regulations and compliance requirements
Tasks and responsibilities under key regulations (Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health, DGUV Regulation 1 & 3, VDE 0105-100, VDE 1000-10)
Delegation of company duties to responsible electricians
Developing work instructions for hazardous tasks
Accident types and high-risk areas
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Awarding contracts to external companies and coordinating work
Employee instruction and training requirements
Inspection of electrical machines, systems, and equipment
Appointment procedures and documentation for responsible electricians
Legal liability considerations
Requirements
Qualification of competent person according to DGUV I 209-093 (FHV), or qualified electrician (EFK)
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the training course will receive an official certificate. This certificate serves as official proof of qualification.
Validity
The certification has no expiration date.
