Course description
The EFffT training course provides non-electricians with the necessary technical knowledge and practical skills to safely handle assigned electrical duties within the scope of their training, without exceeding their competence limits.
Course outline
In accordance with DGUV I 209-093
Fundamental electrical principles
Identification of electrical hazards and application of first aid
Implementation of protective measures against electric shocks and arc
Health and safety protocols for high voltage work
Understanding technical and managerial responsibilities in HV operations
Employee qualification requirements for electrical and high voltage tasks
Practical applications of high voltage systems in vehicles
Structure and operation of vehicle power supply systems
Hands-on experience in safely decommissioning and commissioning HV systems
Requirements
Previous electrical knowledge in the automotive industry, e.g. automotive electrician, automotive mechatronics technician, automotive mechanic.
Certification
Each participant who successfully pass the assessment will receive a certificate. This certificate contains the following information:
- Name of participant
- Title of qualification
- Training content
- Duration of training course
This certificate is relevant to prove the correct qualification to the employers’ liability insurance association or the employer.
Validity
The instruction should be repeated at regular intervals. According to DGUV Regulation 1, refresher training should be given at least once a year.
