Course description
This training course is essential for electrical specialists involved in the commissioning services for car manufacturers within the high voltage vehicle technology field.
With this additional qualification, specialists are authorised to independently work on de-energised high voltage systems and non-intrinsically safe high voltage vehicles, systems and components during the pre-series and development stages.
Course outline
In accordance with the special legal regulations of the IHK
Safety engineering and occupational health regulations
Function and circuit analysis for high voltage systems
Coordination of occupational health and safety measures with internal and external institutions
Environmental regulations, with focus on energy storage systems
Compliance with safety rules and accident prevention regulations
Testing electrical protective measures on vehicles and components
Evaluating technical documents and preparing reports
Understanding electrotechnical principles and performing calculations
Selecting appropriate measurement and test methods, and assigning signals to interfaces
Diagnosing and interpreting system results
Identifying and addressing fault causes
Commissioning vehicles and vehicle components
Troubleshooting electrical issues in vehicles and components
Fundamentals of general electrical engineering

Certification
Participants who successfully pass the assessment will receive an official certificate. This certificate serves as official proof of qualification.
Validity
Regular refresher training is recommended to ensure compliance and keep knowledge up-to-date. As per the DGUV Regulation 1, refresher training must be completed at least once a year.
