Course description
The high voltage training level 3 builds upon the skills acquired in level 2 training. This advanced level is required for individuals involved in troubleshooting or repairing live high voltage components and energy storage devices. It is also necessary for anyone working in the proximity of touchable live parts.
When enrolling in the course, it’s important to consider whether your work occurs before or after the start of production (E or S), as the course content will vary based on this distinction.

Types, construction and hazard potential of high voltage energy storage systems
Practical applications for working on live high voltage components
Requirements
- Must meet the qualifications required for level 2 training
- At least 1 year of practical work experience in the automotive or electrical field
- Certified first aider
- Minimum age of 18 years old
Certification
Participants who successfully pass the assessment will receive an official certificate. This certificate serves as official proof of qualification.
Validity
As per DGUV guidelines, aa refresher training course every 4 years is required to keep up to date with the latest safety practices and regulations.
